Flynn Nolan

Hello everybody! Trying to get back in the swing of things after a long and much-needed break.  In preparation for the Groove Cruise on Friday, I’m trying to put up some tracks from the artist’s that are playing.  More specifically I’m posting a few tracks from a newly discovered Miami DJ/Producer Flynn Nolan.  This first one is a solid jam recreating a disco classic “Queen of Disco”.

This next one is super cool, a remix of Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You”, keeps your ears entertained as the track shifts through interesting textures and builds.

Another fun edit, Flynn does a pretty good job with this mashup.

Last track of the day, I had to put up this track because Mark Knight’s “Alright”, is absolutely one of my favorite songs and this is a pretty decent edit.  Check it out, what do you think?

Truth

Technically labeled as “Drumstep”, this is a fun track switching between a pumping DnB chorus to Dubby halftime breaks.

Here is an excellent down tempo remix of Destiny’s Childs “Say My Name”.  Perfect for a rainy day, this song brought me back to those old school days of “Red Light Parties” and hoping someone’s older sibling would buy us beer. What do you get when you mix Funk music with Drumstep? Yep, that’s right! You get 3/4th’s greatness, 1/8th future porn music, and three dimes full of WTF!  Anyway you add it up, this track is Skrillex meets RHCP in my book.  Check it out!
